- When is storage in transit used?
- When a regional or long-distance move cannot finish in one day, goods are secured between legs rather than left unattended.
- Is storage in transit included in the quote?
- Yes. overnight or multi-day holding is planned and priced before move day, not added as a surprise.
- How far in advance should I book my move?
- Two weeks is ideal, and more for a Friday, a Saturday or the end of the month, which fill first. Smaller jobs we can often fit sooner. Call (021) 228 2728 and we will tell you the next crew we have free.
- What areas do you cover?
- Daily coverage across Auckland and Hamilton, plus Waikato towns and regional North Island routes. Mixed Auckland–Waikato or very long routes are quoted individually upfront.
- How do you protect furniture during the move?
- Furniture is protected before it moves, with blankets, shrink wrap or mattress covers depending on the item. That is included, not an extra. Fragile things are boxed or crated. Marble and glass tops travel upright in a padded frame, never flat. Pianos get piano boards and dedicated strapping inside the truck.
- Do you provide packing services?
- Yes. Packers come the day before, priced by bedroom count from $1,700 plus GST for a one-bedroom home, with cartons, paper and wrap supplied. Most people have us do the kitchen and the fragile things and handle the rest themselves, which is cheaper and works fine.
